Financial support when your business changes.
Organised records for incorporation, company changes, winding down and financial difficulty.
Incorporation and initial finance setup
Support with accounting arrangements, financial records and administrative questions within the agreed engagement. Registration matters and the need for legal advice are defined with the client.
Company changes, transfers and winding down
Preparation and review of financial documents, reconciliations and planning for the accounting handover. Legal agreements and specialist assessments require relevant expertise.
Clear responsibilities
We specify the financial and administrative work performed by Stämkoll and the decisions or specialist work outside the engagement. This is not an all-inclusive legal service.
Support with financial distress, bankruptcy and business reorganisation
When a business is under financial pressure, up-to-date information and clear next steps matter. Stämkoll supports the financial and administrative work before a possible bankruptcy or Swedish business reorganisation and coordinates with legal specialists.
- Current income statements, balance sheets, reconciliations and cash flow information.
- Schedules of liabilities, receivables and financial documents.
- Organised accounting records and information for the board, owners and legal adviser.
- Practical support with financial documentation for a company's own bankruptcy application or a business reorganisation application.
- Coordination when handing financial records to the bankruptcy trustee or business reorganisation practitioner.
Our role and the specialist's role
Stämkoll does not act as a bankruptcy trustee or business reorganisation practitioner. Legal assessments and procedural matters are handled with an appropriate legal specialist. Any continuing work after a bankruptcy decision requires an engagement by, and coordination with, the trustee.
Bankruptcy and business reorganisation are different procedures. The Swedish Courts explain the requirements and application process. Seek advice early if your business is in financial difficulty; submitting an enquiry does not mean an engagement has been accepted.
